對照著你的生命與所感受過的辛苦；哽咽卻佩服。我記得你說過，你是一個辛苦的人，跟著你會很辛苦；然而，這卻是你的生活方式，你從來沒有想要改變過。比較起你，你可能會覺得我是活在溫室中的花朵，說著大道理，只是因為不明白別人的辛苦。
然而，我的生活態度是坦白卻堅忍。活得坦白並不容易，尤其是生在充滿謊言與勾心鬥角的環境中。每天面對著當你媽咪得勢時，醫事同仁們拍馬屁的嘴臉；當你媽咪失去官位時，大家不屑多談一句的表情。在這樣的環境中，我成長、茁壯；我知道如何討好任何一個想要討好的人，我知道什麼樣的謊言或虛偽叫做客套，我明白大家為了官位互相攻防的好笑畫面。因此，打從心中懷疑人性的真誠，也更因如此，坦白是我給予一個人價值標籤上的重要依據；不斷反覆驗證一個人的人格與表現，變成我永遠在和人互動時，身體中不自主會出現的反射。自己活得坦白不難，要求別人跟著坦白卻不容易；有多少人願意放下偽裝，跟你坦然，互掀底牌；所以，每當這樣的人出現，我總是珍惜不已。
然而，堅忍這個態度，卻不是這麼容易；它經過了許多的痛苦後，學著克服這樣的障礙，才算堅忍。學著走最難走的路變成了一種修行，有一陣子，我有考慮過當個修女；學著當別人都說我過得辛苦時，把它變成讓別人都無法體會的甘甜。寫作，也是這樣開始的；想記錄著一些註定別人都不看好的狀態，試著用堅忍的態度，學習如何活過來。無尾港是這樣，一年的助理工作是這樣，博士班是這樣，每段無奈的緣份也是這樣。認真看完我論文的人，沒有稱讚這是項了不起的創舉，反而以「辛苦」的過程來描述這個論文。我卻以此為樂，感謝我和無尾港有了這樣的緣份，感謝盧老師能夠讓我有這樣的空間經歷辛苦，然後學到如何更加堅忍。
最近看了「How to get a PhD」，為我的未來預做準備。看著這本書，我看到了一些自己仍要加強的缺點，也發現了老師在指導學生上的障礙；也許有一天我也找老師談談。也因為這本書，我決定開始寫下，這幾年的摸索，希望能夠留給有緣份的學弟妹們，讓他們能在進入碩士班時，有一些分享與思考。

Main purpose of job
To provide project support for the execution of Protected Area-related initiatives within the Protected Area Programme.
Key duties and responsibilities
Process and input data, ensuring a high level of accuracy and quality control, and to contribute to the day-to-day maintenance and management of the programme's data holdings
Assist with the synthesis and analysis (including GIS analysis) of data for the compilation of publications, reports and other types of information outputs
Respond to requests for information together with administrative aspects of the task
Assist in organizing international conferences.
Contribute to project development activities, liaising with other programmes within UNEP-WCMC and with other organizations.
Requirements:The candidate should have/be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
A passion for conservation as well as in sustainable development issues and poverty alleviation would be a distinct advantage.
A relevant BSc (minimum) and 2 years professional experience.
An understanding of the role that Protected Areas play in national and international conservation is also necessary as well as a keen interest in the natural world.
GIS experience and knowledge in the use of relevant spatial analysis software.
Good written and oral communication skills.
An ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise work.
Use of Microsoft Office
To undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time commensurate with the level of the post.
